Update & Good Friends

So, it has been awhile since I posted anything. Life is going well. I've been really focused on working and studying for the CPA exams. Update: I took one exam at the end of May. I got the results last week. To pass I needed a 75. I got an 84! It was pretty exciting to see that!
I have 3 more exams to take: on July 8th, July 29th, and August 29th. That's right, the "summer o' fun" is what I am calling it. :) I will also be moving after the July 8th exam, you know, just to throw some excitement into the mix.In other areas, I will be participating in the Freedom Run (5k) as part of Provo's Freedom Festival on July 4th. I'm not much of a runner, but one needs to start somewhere, right? A week later, in the midst of moving, I have tickets to go to a John Schmidt concert in Sandy. I'm excited about that. Since seeing his video on youtube for the "Love Story meets Viva la Vida" I'm officially in love with his music! Nothing I love better than awesome piano music!
I also get to spend 3 days at Bear Lake in August with some friends. I cannot fully describe how excited I am for this! It will be nice to just chill.
Finally, a very good friend of mine, Emily Thevenin, wrote an article that was published in the July Ensign. Check it out here. She truly is an inspiration to me. Love you Em!

And now you know.....

the rest of the story....

Okay, so there was more to the texas trip than the wedding and I haven't posted it because I haven't managed to get pictures from my sister. Well she just posted about the "adventure" part of the "Texas Adventure Trip" on her blog. I'm so lazy that I am going to let you all read her version of the trip and call it good. So, without further adieu, the rest of the story. :)

Krystal's Wedding Day

On Thursday, April 16, 2009, my oldest niece, Krystal, married Tyler Sudweeks in the Lubbock Texas temple. It was a beautiful morning for a wedding.

Another happy couple, David & Kristen (sorry Kristen! Darn wind!)

Tough, macho brothers, David and Jeffrey (oldest and youngest brothers, respectively)

There are more pictures, even a few with me in them, but they aren't on my camera, so in due time, I'll post them. There were a few other adventures on that trip that I will blog about when I get the other photos....so stay tuned for the extra "twists" to, what I am now calling, the "Texas Adventure Trip"
